Reza Mikailli, President & Chief Executive Officer

Reza Mikailli came to Unify in October 1992, with a 20-year career in the software industry. Previously, he served Unify as its Senior Vice President of Products. Prior to Unify, he was Vice President of Server and Connectivity Products for Informix Software . Mikailli has also held senior management positions with Ingres and DSC Communication. Mikailli holds a master's degree in computer science from Santa Clara University, and a master's degree in mathematics and bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Tehran, Iran. Scott Canali, Vice President, Marketing.

Scott joined Unify from Informix Software in May 1995. He brings more than sixteen years of marketing experience in the software industry. Scott was Director of Marketing Programs at Informix Software, responsible for the company's most successful product marketing, launches and campaigns. He previously served as Director, Software and Channel Marketing at Motorola, Inc. Scott holds a bachelor's degree in Business from the University of California at Davis. View Picture

Walt Kopp, Director of Product Development

Walter Kopp joined Unify in 1987 as Engineering Manager. In 1992, Walt was named Director of Software Development and in January 1995 he was appointed as Director of Product Development. Previously, he was manager of Software Tools at ROLM Corporation, a manufacturer of telecommunications equipment, and a Systems Engineer and Systems Programmer at Data General, a computer company. Walt received a B.S. degree from Cornell University and an M.S. degree in computer science from the University of Massachusetts.

Malcolm Padina, Vice President, European Operations.

Malcolm came to Unify in January 1995, bringing more than 25 years experience in the European computer industry. Most recently at Visigenic Software, he founded the start-up company's European operations. He has also served as Managing Director and Vice President of Operations for Informix UK Ltd., FPS Computing, Prime Computer Inc. as well as executive sales and management positions for International Computers Limited (ICL). Terrence J. Reilly, Vice President, Intercontinental Operations.

Terry joined Unify in April of 1995 from Blyth Software where he held positions of Vice President of North American Sales and previously Vice President of Intercontinental and Indirect sales. Previously, Reilly was Director of Latin American and Canadian sales for Informix and held similar positions with Net Labs, Inc. and Oracle Corporation. He holds a Business/Marketing degree from the State University of New York, Farmingdale. View Picture

Susan Salvesen, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Finance and Administration

Susan Salvesen joined the Company as vice president, Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer in April 1996. From May 1994 to April 1996, Salvesen was Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of AG Associates, a semiconductor equipment company. From February 1988 to May 1994, she served as Corporate Controller at Aspect Telecommunications, where she managed the accounting and finance operations. Salvesen holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Douglass College of Rutgers University and an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh. View Picture

Frank Verardi, Vice President, Customer Support & Product Delivery.

Frank Verardi has over 23 years working in positions dealing directly with customers. He joined Unify in August 1988 bringing more than 15 years experience in the software industry. Before joining Unify, he held various positions with Computer Sciences Corporation where his most recent assignment was Director of Commercial Professional Services. He holds a degree in Computer Sciences from Chico State University. View Picture
